Retractable bollards are designed for medium security applications such as traffic & parking control, they offer a simple trouble free operation, proven over many years of installation. The retractable bollard is available with a choice of two different materials mild steel or 316 grade stainless steel both supplied with mild steel hot dipped galvanised in-ground casing. The retractable bollard has only two moving parts providing trouble free operation & is supplied with 2 x unique low cost "T" handles.

The Shock Absorbing Bollard (SAB) has the ability to shift sideways if hit at or near ground level. If the impact is higher up the bollard, it can tilt up to 8 degrees, at which point it locks offering maximum protection. Alternatively, if the contact is of a deflection or glance nature, the SAB is able to rotate through a full 360 degrees. SABs are designed to be used anywhere vehicles are maneuvering at low speeds, such as carparks and warehouses. The self centering design means the SABs can take repeated impacts without incurring permanent damage. They simply absorb the impact and return to their original position. These unique characteristics result from the combination of clever engineering and the use of high tech composite materials.
